Land Down Under: A 911 Turbo S in Two Chromaflair Colors

Porsche Cars Australia presented the 911 Turbo S Land Down Under in August 2026 to mark 75 years of Porsche in Australia. The Sonderwunsch commission was developed with artist Werner Bronkhorst and Style Porsche.

A landscape across the body

Terra Australis Red covers the lower body and transitions into Southern Cross Blue higher up. Both were developed as Chromaflair colors for the project. Porsche describes more than 300 hours of hand application across seven layers.

The cabin continues the story

Dark Night Blue and Coolibah Brown leather, Australian Silky Oak inlays and a Southern Hemisphere constellation map carry the regional theme inside. These are specific documented details, not generic suggestions for an Australian-themed build.

How to read the photographs

A gradient introduces a second variable into a color-shifting finish: position on the body. When comparing photographs, first check which panel you are looking at, then the lighting and angle. One close-up cannot stand in for the whole specification. This is a useful archive example precisely because a single paint-name label would be inadequate.

Color and material names

Porsche retains Terra Australis Red and Southern Cross Blue in its German account too. These project names should not be replaced with guessed translations. Compare Porsche’s German source.
