More than a body color

The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series used Golden Yellow Metallic as a repeated accent. Porsche’s 2017 announcement describes matching wheel details, brake-caliper lettering, stitching and seat accents alongside the body finish. Exposed carbon stripes across the hood and roof interrupt the gold and give the scheme its recognizable structure.

The series was limited to 500 cars, but Porsche also offered other exterior colors. That distinction matters: the production limit is not evidence that 500 Golden Yellow Metallic examples exist.

Read the contrast

In the exhibition photograph, the carbon rear wing and dark wheel centers provide contrast while the painted panels carry the reflections. For a reader comparing gold finishes, it is worth looking at both broad panels and small details. A narrow accent can seem much brighter against black than the same color across a shaded door.

Names to retain

The English announcement uses Golden Yellow Metallic; the German version calls it Goldgelbmetallic. These are documented names for this finish in the Exclusive Series reports. We have not assigned a paint code or claimed that a different gold is equivalent. This article records a 2017 specification, not a current configuration offer.
